Toby becomes a beloved fixture at the café, bringing comfort and joy to the diners. Each day, he meets new friends with unique stories, teaching young readers about resilience and the power of community. As Toby collects scraps of fabric from his friends, a man named Oscar, who has found a job and a home, decides to adopt him.
